Vodafone has announced that it’s bringing Nokia phones back to their network, with the just-announced 3G 3310, Nokia 3, Nokia 6 and the company’s recent Nokia 8 flagship due to make an appearance in the coming weeks.
Pretty simple stuff: The Nokia 8 and Nokia 6 will be available to buy outright, or on 12/24/36-month Red plans while the Nokia 3 will run $179 outright. The 3310 will be available for outright purchase at $79 if you really need to combine 3G data with a phone capable of playing classic Snake (and who doesn’t?).
Vodafone should be a good home for Nokia as well, having relaunched their Red Plans just last month with no-lock-in contracts offering interest-free repayments over 12, 24 or 36 months. Red Plans run from $30 – $100 a month. The company also reckons you’ll enjoy its Prepaid Combo plans if you’re not up for a month-to-month Red Plan.
Great news for the resurgent Nokia in finding an on-carrier home for its phones – still one of the best ways to sell through in volumes in Australia.
