Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3″ now available at JB HiFi

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3″ which we reviewed recently as an import, has now gone on-sale at JB Hifi. The latest JB HiFi catalogue is now showing the over sized phone on-sale for $598.

As a fairly over-sized device, it’s a big price for a big phone. There’s no mention of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 which was announced at the same time but there has been some interest in the large screen device.

Spec wise the Galaxy Mega 6.3 contains :

• Dual core 1.7 Ghz CPU, Adreno 305 GPU
• 1.5 GB RAM
• 8 GB Storage, Micro SD expansion
• 8.0 MP rear, 1.9 MP front cameras
• Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4 BLE, NFC
• 2G/3G/4G Cellular connectivity
• Android 4.2.2 with Samsung customisations
• 3200 mAh Battery
• 167.6 x 88 x 8 mm; 199 grams

The Galaxy Mega is available in White only at the moment and there has been no official launch from Samsung or related carriers.
