Nexus 7 (2013)
The Multi-Touch bug affecting the new Nexus 7 that was reported last week, will be resolved in an OTA update that is apparently rolling out to the tablet.

Googler PaulW over on the Google Product Forums has advised that the update which is inbound will address the multi-touch issue that was reported :

Hi everyone,

As a couple of you have mentioned, there’s a new system update that’s started rolling out for your Nexus 7s. This update does address the touchscreen issues discussed in this thread. If you’re one of the people experiencing touchscreen issues, please let us know how it’s going after you’ve received and installed the update.

Over on XDA-Developers, a new build – 4.3r2.2 JSS15Q – is the one that has been sent out, updating the Nexus 7(2013) from JSS15J to JSS15Q. There has been no reports of devices receiving the update as yet, and you can rest assured that the update will be captured and posted as soon as it’s available.

Meanwhile, here in Australia, we await the official launch of the Nexus 7(2013), until then those lucky enough to have imported the device can expect an update soon. If you haven’t already, why not buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win one, the proceeds go to a worthy cause.

Hopefully this update will help out others with the issue. This is my first ever tablet and loving it. Much easier than using my windows 8 laptop everytime. Only negative comments is location of volume and power button. Its almost impossible to reach them when you have put on wallet case. You cant find it unless you turn it and actually look for it. I also… Read more »
