Optus has today announced that they’ve added the Sony Xperia E1 to their pre-paid range. The 3G only handset will be sold online and in-store for $149.
It’s a pretty decent deal for a low end phone, but Optus is going the extra mile. As a bonus for early adopters, the phone is being paired with a Soccer World Cup promotion which means that customers will receive an official Match Ball Replica valued at $30.
Sony Xperia E1 Specs :

The Xperia E1 is music focused which includes a dedicated Walkman button. This paired with the integrated speaker which offers deeper, richer bass that is capable of playing up to 100dB and the ClearAudio+ sound experience is a winner but also comes with the ability to change tracks easily on the go with ‘Shake control’.
You can head on over to the Optus website to check out the phone and place your order, or of course head in-store to check it out.
Why even release a phone this low end if it’s not going to run Kit Kat…
