Bose is one of the biggest names in home and enthusiast audio hardware. In previous generations, we’ve seen the QC25 and QC35 and now the QC45.
The upgrades that users can expect to hear include better noise-cancelling and an awareness mode to hear what’s going on around you. The updated design stays true to the Bose QC range and maintains the comfort levels.

Other specs that will please users include:

- Improved stability of wireless connection
- USB-C charging: 2 hours for full charge or 15 mins for 3 hours playback
- Voice Isolation: Ensuring your calls are clear for you and your caller
- Durable and comfortable design to ensure your investment lasts
- Simple controls for playback (volume and track controls), call handling and access to Assitant/Siri/Alexa
In a slight sidestep from what many other manufacturers deliver, there are only two audio modes. The first being quiet mode, the microphone array measures and the software responds to surrounding noises to cancel it out. Aware mode is a full audio transparency mode, where the surrounding environment is brought through actively to your ears while you continue your listening.
The QuietComfort 45 headphones will be available from October 4th for $499.95 via the Bose online store or the usual retail outlets. If you’re super keen on that audio upgrade, pre-orders start on September 13th. Staying true to the previous offerings, you’ve got triple black or white smoke in a matte finish to choose from.
