The excitement for the launch of the LG G3 is palpable, we’ve just about seen everything about the phone and each successive leak just stirs up more excitement for the launch event scheduled for Wednesday morning. Now, the hype steps up with a dummy unit arriving in-store in Korea.
The dummy phone, which if it’s in Korea is probably the LG-F400S/K/L model destined for the LG home market, but appears to be cosmetically similar to the LG-D85X model that is set to launch in western markets. The dummy shows off the circular clock widget which will be visible on the QuickCircle cover which LG announced the other day.
Hardware wise, we see the phone from all angles, even though it’s a non-working dummy we can see that the microUSB port appears to be up the ‘right’ way – Jason will be pleased – and the bezels are fabulously tiny. On the rear we see the dual-LED flash, rear mounted controls and the mysterious port to the left of those keys, which so far rumours suggest is a laser which will be used to get clearer photos.
Join us at 3am AEST on Wednesday morning, when LG streams the launch on their website.
