Since Rovio soft launched their Angry Birds: Transformers title in New Zealand a couple of weeks back, we’ve been waiting for this and now it’s here. The AutoBirds and Deceptihogs are doing battle in this latest game in the Angry Birds franchise, which takes a departure from the usual catapult driven game we’re used to.
As shown in the Gameplay trailer, things are a little different with Angry Birds Transformers. You take control of your favourite transformer and run through a side-scrolling adventure destroying the Piggies or Birds as you go.
The game includes a heap of features, listed in the Google Play description:
– DESTROY! Leave the slingshot at home – this time you have some SERIOUS firepower!
– VEHICLES! Oh, yes! Car, truck, tank or plane – transform to dodge falling hazards!
– UPGRADES! Get stronger weapons and new abilities for every Transformer!
– TAG TEAM! Borrow a friend’s character to unleash a devastating two-bot assault!
– TELEPODSâ„¢! Scan ‘em to unlock, revive or boost your bots!
The game is free to play, but of course carries the ‘Offers in-app purchases’ label. The In-app Products range in price from $5.69 to $113.95 per item, something to remember when handing your Android device to the kids to have a play. If you’re interested, head on over to Google Play and get installing.
I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE.
Thanks Conan

Should have been the Autohogs vs the Decptibirds, since in the original series, a lot of the Decpticons were aircraft.
don’t forget the aerialbots/superion! (they were a bit crap though. actually the autobots never had good combiners.)
If you’re going down the path of the combiners, then the Decpticon vehicle teams of the Constructicons and the Stunticons also need to be remembered.
