Telstra Wi-Fi Hotspot
Telstra’s nation-wide Wi-Fi network is going ahead full steam, last month Telstra added 1500 more of them and also requested user feedback on where to add more. Today, Telstra has announced where the first 50 of those community requested hotspots will be going.

Out of a list of 5,000, Telstra has chosen the following as their top 50 which will eventually be counted as part of the 2 million Wi-Fi hotspots they plan to put in place over the next 5 years. These sites, and another 1450 will be turned on by June, with these user suggested sites prioritised. So, where are they? Here’s the list:

Used them a few times. Took me half an hour to upload 11 photos all under 10mb each. Like filling up a 2 litre bottle with the tap on drip. Only good to send an email.

Use them everyday in Melbourne. Allows me to recharge less $$$ for now, while they’re free to everyone.

never used one till now though I work in Melbourne CBD. But seen many backpackers using these which are located next to their hotels.
