Twitter’s live video broadcast app Periscope has received some neat new features according to the Periscope blog.
The headline feature for the update is the inclusion of landscape mode, probably the most-requested feature since the launch of the app earlier this year. It allows you to broadcast in a more natural widescreen format, and should help you catch more of the action in most settings.
Other new features include an indicator of who shared a live stream when it appears in your feed, and the private broadcast share screen now shows a list of “mutual followers” – users you follow, who also follow you. It’s though that this list is a more useful starting point for selecting people with whom you’ll want to share that private broadcast.
