Primer
Google has today updated their marketing training tool Primer, an app which feeds you quickly digestible marketing lessons in the palm of your hand.

The app has jumped from version 1.0 to 2.0.20 and if you’re not familiar with the app we don’t blame you, it’s mainly aimed at marketing professionals.

Primer has a simple focus which is to teach digital marketing, offering lessons in advertising, content, measurement, and strategy in short easy to digest lessons. The lessons can be completed in as little as 5 minutes, basically while you’re sitting down to enjoy a cup of coffee. The app contains lessons, as well as a ‘next step’ approach to suggest where you can go from there to integrate your new skills.

The app has some new features, including new lessons which Google has said will be updated weekly.

WHAT’S NEW

  • New Lessons Every Week: We’ll cover a wider variety of marketing topics, from basic to advanced. That includes lessons about storytelling, ad buying, measurement, SEO and more.
  • Personalized Next-Steps: Every lesson ends with a short activity that gives you a customized starting point.
  • Bookmarking and Sharing: Save content to your profile or send it to someone else who might find it useful.
  • Choose Your Path: Take our lessons in any order you want.
