Optimus G Pro
With the announcement of the Optimus G coming to Telstra in March, LG has already overshadowed the handeset today by announcing the Optimus G Pro at the NTT Docomo launch in Japan, the newer Optimus G Pro comes with a 5″ 1080P screen that boasts a pixel density of 441ppi. The Optimus G Pro will appear on NTT Docomo in April but so far the phone has only been announced for the Japanese market.
Specs :

  • 5″ 1080P LCD Screen
  • 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro(APQ8064) CPU
  • 2GB RAM
  • 32GB on-board storage with MicroSD Card Slot
  • LTE
  • Android 4.1
  • 3000 mAh battery

With LG announcing today that the original Optimus G will begin rolling out to 50 other countries from the end of January including Australia in March, LG will most likely be keeping quiet about the Optimus G Pro in Australia for at least a little while but I have asked LG Australia for comments on this phone.
