It’s listed as leaving the warehouse “by” November 2nd (that could be an important distinction if you absolutely must have it first), and you’ll only be able to make the “Add to Cart” button appear if you select Aluminium or Graphite, and then you’ll only have 64GB (at a price of $999) as your storage option. Update: After ordering, customers are being advised that stock will be in hand on November 6th.
The phone’s little brother, the Nexus 5X, also went on sale today shortly after the Nexus 6P.

So now the only option is frost in 64gb, which was not available at the start, such a strange way to release stock. I was tossing up between silver and white, so got the silver yesterday when that was the only option.

Have just ordered a 64GB Aluminium Nexus 6P on GG store. So excitied to experienced pure android with latest hardware! But I was said a little because Australian pricing is 30% more expensive than the US. Anyway, anyone know what happened when the product is delivered but no one was at home?
If it’s by Fedex or DHL they’ll leave a slip for you and you can decide to have it delivered another day, delivered to a business address or you can pick it up at a distribution centre. If it’s Australia Post (unlikely) you can just pick it up at the post office the next day.

Any theories on what ‘soon’ might mean for the 128GB models?
So the most popular (Black in 32GB) is unavailable, and google price gouge their overpriced 64GB versions on play store and retailers. No wonder their at the top of the corporate ladder.
Playstore should change the name from (Buy from $899) to (Pay us $100 more for a $15 SD card).

Apple has a lot to answer for the way they’ve dragged the entire market pricing upwards so far.
The new HTC get’s my vote – 32GB and SD card.
And good to see them as the first to break with the high price model and give people an affordable alternative, filling the hole that Nexus has clearly vacated.
I agree, i was shocked to see 32gb being $900 and not the speculated $800. But then again i bought my Galaxy S2 for 900 back in 2011 and it only had 16gb. So im ok with this. Also japan gets the same phone for $50 AUD less than us.

My credit card has been charged though even though it said it wouldn’t be charged until it ships.
Nah it’s different to a a charge. They’ve actually put a hold on your card but they have not “charged” you yet. Difference being that when they charge you they get the money but the hold simply holds it for them until either they charge you or a certain amount of time passes (5days usually)
Same as what xtremevicky (Love the name btw, you sound like a fun beer drinking friend lol) said. They always sit at pending until the order is actually filled and posted. I think Apple does the same if I remember correctly.

That’s what happened to me originally and caused all my issues. They ended up cancelling my account as they put it down to ‘suspicious account activity’. Therefore my original order was cancelled and had to send them a drivers licence and bank statement to prove my identity. Re-ordered again and thankfully was able to get a 64Gb Aluminum. Give them a call if your order is still ‘pending’.
Finally got the 64Gb in Aluminium. I was on the phone with Google for 1.5 hours trying to sort my account out after the initial issues with using my Google wallet (which ended up being an issue at their end). They have hopeless customer service. In the end they couldn’t re-initiate my order and i had to place a brand new order. I thought they were going to at least compensate me for lost time / inconvenience but instead the person on the phone said there was nothing he could do. Nah there are problems wifi config ect from other countries and the 4g network. American ones for example dont work properly at least that was the case with the N6
Pretty sure the Expansys and Kogans of the world will be selling them at better prices soon. Probably the way to go, these prices are kind of insane and way too Apple-ish.

I have just been in contact with Google as my order went over $1000, so i thought I would be up for GST. They have let me know that they have a special arrangement with the carrier to NOT ask for GST.

Just got a 64GB Graphite one, it seems the 32GB is not available.
The 64GB model is actually going for $999, not $899 as reported above, which would be the case for the 32GB model, presumably, when it goes on sale
Got my order in for the Aluminium 6P 64GB!!! So excited. It’s the first time I’ve had a Nexus order just work without there servers falling over. Well done Google!!!
I guess $1000 for a phone will have less demand than the nexus 4 did
Last years Nexus 6 lasted about a minute and killed the servers and it was a top priced phone.
