Samsung Australia has today announced that the Coral Blue colour variant of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ is now available in Australia.

The new Coral Blue colour is available only from retailers, with no carrier offering the distinctive colour on a plan. The Coral Blue colour is available from Samsung’s online store, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and other selected retailers. The Coral Blue Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ has the same price as the Orchid Grey, Maple Gold and Midnight Black colour variants, with the Galaxy S8 priced at $1,199, while the Coral Blue Galaxy S8+ is priced at $1,349.

Quite frankly, this thing looks hot…and I want one:

Specs are the same, you’ll still find the same Exynos 8895 Octa-core CPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (yes, microSD card up to 256GB too) under the hood, as well as a class leading camera on both the front and rear. Samsung has again made the phone IP68 water/dust resistant allowing it to remain submerged in 1.5m of water for up to 30 minutes. Samsung also include the latest security advances with the S8/S8+, with fingerprint, iris, and facial scanner able to unlock the phone almost instantly.

The Galaxy S8 is also trying something new with the DeX workstation dock which lets you plug your phone into a monitor and use it as a desktop.

The phone is available from today at selected retailers, if you want to read Chris’ thoughts on the S8 you can check out his review here.

Only if the front little bezels were the same colour.. Once you put a case on it, won’t really make a difference.
