The LG V30+ is for me, the sleeper hit of 2017. The phone looked and worked great and now it’s even cheaper, with LG Australia dropping the price of the handset to just $999 for a limited time.

The sale runs from the 18th of January (yep, today) until the 31st of January at JB Hifi who have the price drop now listed on their website.

The V30+ has some top notch hardware inside, including a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM and yes the reason for that ‘+’ 128GB of on-board storage with a microSD card that will ensure you’ll likely never run out of space. The camera chops of the V30 can’t be denied either with a dual 16MP/13MP (f1.6 main) sensors on the rear covered in glass Crystal Clear lens, and a 5MP selfie cam on the front. The V30+ offers super wide angle shots on their front and rear cameras, allowing you to get everything in the shot.

  1. If you bought a V30+ from JB in December last year (at $1199), you still got a pair of beoplay h3’s which retail at Jones for $229, as much as it seems like a good deal, I feel that the phone is essentially the same price minus the pricey earbuds. I suppose it all comes down to whether you need some decent earbuds, and what you value them at.
