Optus - QFF
Optus and Qantas have today announced that they will be ending their partnership, which allowed Optus customers to accrue Qantas Frequent Flyer (QFF) points on account payments.

The program, which launched over three years ago, will end on the 30th of June, though customers will continue to earn QFF points on any bills paid up until that date and any points accrued through the program will remain in place.

Vicki Brady, Managing Director, Marketing and Product, Optus, said:

We’ve had a successful relationship with Qantas Frequent Flyer over the past few years. As we evolve our customer loyalty program, we’ve made a decision to change some aspects of our current offering. We know that our customers value different things, so we’re working on the best way to bring our rewards to life in a way that makes sense for them. We thank our customers for their loyalty and will continue the Optus Movie Rewards program.

The addition of QFF points accrual has been a big bonus for Optus customers up till now, so it will be interesting to see if this affects customer retention. For information on the QFF program and Optus you can check out optus.com.au/qantas or qantaspoints.com.
