TmoNews have received four pictures of pictures of what their source claims to be the Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus — a 7-inch Galaxy Tab with a 1024×600 Super AMOLED display, single-core Cortex A9 CPU and dual-band Wi-Fi. It’s also incredibly thin and running Android 3.2 with what looks like the TouchWiz UI interface which TmoNews’ source says is a “phenomenal addition” and the “user experience is simple and fun.”

The Galaxy Tab Plus sounds very much like the device my source stated to me when I wrote about a ‘next generation Galaxy Tab‘ coming to Telstra in the coming months.

Although the pictures of the leaked Galaxy Tab Plus show a T-Mobile 4G logo, it’s very easy for Samsung to launch this here in Australia as most of their new Galaxy Tabs have quad-band 21Mbit 3G radios.

There’s no known release date or pricing, however, the device has already received approval from both the Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG so it’s well on the way to being released. All it needs now is a visit to the FCC and then T-Mobile and Samsung to tell the public about it, hopefully followed by a Telstra announcement. 3 more images available at the source link.
