Toshiba’s 7-inch ‘Thrive’ to launch in Australia at the end of next month for $450

Australian Business Traveller is reporting that Toshiba’s 7-inch (ATS10) variant of the much larger 10-inch Toshiba Thrive will be launching here in Australia nearing the end of next month. The device will set you back $450 and will be sold via leading retailers. What the 7-inch Thrive does have going for it, is that it shares most of its specs with its larger 10-inch brother.

It might not have the insane pixel density of the Samsung Galaxy Note, but it does have a higher PPI count than most 10-inch and 7-inch tablets, making it great for reading and watching movies on the HD screen. What do you think of it?
