Android’s biggest custom ROM developer(s), CyanogenMod, have begun the roll-out of CyanogenMod 10 which is based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Although nightly releases will still continue, these releases — dubbed ‘M’ — will happen on a monthly basis, with this launch being M1. Cyanogen hopes this will be a good compromise between quality and quantity. As for devices that will be supported in the first release, they’ll be as follows.

I agree. This is a great idea for the people who want to be on the edge, but not the bleeding edge.
Good move. The wait for stable releases has been lengthy and nightlies can be hit n miss. I like the idea of monthlies (scary name) that are stable enough for a daily driver.
