Antutu
Looks like someone is either trolling hard or has accidentally let the cat out of the bag a little early. Results have appeared on the Antutu benchmarking site which could possibly be the Samsung Galaxy S IV, which is due to be released next Friday morning Australian Eastern Time.

  • 4.99″ Full HD (1920×1080) screen
  • 1.8GHz Exynos Octa 5410 CPU
  • PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 13MP Rear Camera, 2.1MP Front Facing Camera
  • WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS
  • Android 4.2

The specs show GSM/WCDMA/LTE radio included so perhaps only one CPU type will be used across all markets despite rumours suggesting a Snapdragon CPU could possibly be used in certain places.

The results certainly marry up with what has been rumoured so far however until Samsung makes that announcement in New York, nothing is definite.

What do you think of the ‘leaked’ specs?

I’m thinking they will stick with SAmoled HD but I’m hoping for SLCD.

Chris

I have to say I agree with Blunty on this; this isn’t an accidental leak. I have no doubt Samsung are drip-feeding this information out to keep the media engaged.

Greg McPherson

If they are, they don’t even have to leak correct info. Just stuff to get blog articles.

Powervr as a gpu? I don’t know. Thought they were going with mali.
But looking forward to it

Mehh. More DPI, more GHz, more MP. If it’s all plastic and tacky feeling won’t be much of an improvement.

Robert Williames

No hardware buttons?

Nathan Elcoate

The screenshot was taken on a Nexus 4 by the looks of it.

I think we can all assume that any Samsung device will have a physical hardware ‘Home’ key as well as capacative buttons.

Wow… looks good… cant wait for the released specs.. but thus far sounds stonking!
