SamMobile have some pretty darn good sources, and this time they’ve received pictures and information about another 10″ Samsung tablet which might just be the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus. Using the Samsung codes GT-P8200, GT-P8210 and GT-P8220 it’s rumored to be available in 2 capacities — 32gb and 64gb — and sporting the Exynos Octa-core CPU there’s likely to be both 3G and non-3G models but it’s still sketchy as to what details we can believe.

For now the listed specifications are:

  • Samsung Exynos 5410 Octa CPU
  • Imagination Power SGX 544MP3 GPU
  • 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM with 32GB and 64GB Models
  • MicroSD card storage expansion (up to 64B)
  • 9000 mAh standard li-ion battery
  • 10.055β€³ 2560Γ—1600 display at 300PPI for the screen analysts out there
  • 8 Megapixel camera
  • 1080p Video recording at 30fps
  • 2 megapixel front facing camera
  • IR Blaster

While SamMobile have often been very close, if not right on the mark, with rumours and leaks like this, it’s still important to remember that this is still speculation based on limited available facts.

Is there actually a market out there for 10″ Samsung Tablets, or has that ship sailed? Let us know in the comments below.

I have the Note 10.1. I love it. However I don’t think I would get any tablet with expandable storage ‘up to 64B’. I need a bit more than that. Like at least a Mb.

I got a Note 2 so I didn’t have to worry about getting a tablet. Any bigger and I might as well just have a laptop and use it to be properly productive. I think the market for a 10-inch tablet is unfortunately also the market that don’t care about the difference between iOS and Android, but still perceive Apple as being the premium manufacturer.

300 PPI on a tablet. Damn, that thing will look absolutely crystal clear.

Having used the transformer prime for 15 months and occasionally used my wife’s ipad mini since Christmas the 8″ form factor wins in my book. Unfortunately the 8″hardware is marketed at budget buyers.
I would love a premium build and special 8″ tablet.

Modern processor
2gb ram
64 gb storage
Good screen resolution 1080 p minimum
10 hours battery
Micro sd
Serviceable camera
All wifi frequencies
Wireless charging
Thin bezel
Premium materials that don’t scratch
Hdmi out
Headphones
Micro usb
And a unicorn

About time…
The range of decent ~10″ droid tabs available in Australia has been pathetic for a while now.

Comic Sans, and a hardware menu button?!

Samsung are dead to me.

I am waiting for a 10″ high res tablet with an SD slot and 3/4G. Sounds ideal as a replacement for my 3G Xoom.
