Coming this Thursday Australian time is the launch of the Optimus G2 in New York. What we will see at that stage has pretty much just been shown via a manual found by French site Nowhereelse.fr. The site has a manual in Korean of the LG-F320, which gives out all the specs.
First up, the back of the device does NOT have a bio-metric fingerprint scanner between the +/- volume controls, it does however appear to be the power button. Further the unit will have a removeable back cover which will allow you to access the 2,610mAh battery, and to complement the 32GB of on-board storage there appears to be a microSD Card slot under there, along with a Nano-SIM(thanks Apple) slot.
While there are often regional variants, the LG G2 appears set to be launched with a 5.2″ 1920×1080 resolution display, 2.3GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 CPU with Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM & 13MP Rear camera with a 2.1MP Front facing camera. The last thing to note is that the manual for this particular phone, specifically states – LTE Band 3, which is the Band used in Australia for the 1800MHz network used by Telstra, Optus and Vodafone.
There’s plenty more pictures of pages from the 222 page manual that has been sent to Nowherelse.fr, if you speak Korean and can see any new information please shout out and let us know if you find anything interesting.
Don’t let LG make Nexus 5 please. Fingers crossed LG.
Drooool. Nexus 5 same specs. Sans expandable sd unfortunately.
My thoughts too. Not bothered by SD though
