The leaks keep coming for HTC’s soon-to-be-announced HTC One Max, a 5.7-inch handset to rival Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3. This time, thanks to Chinese website ePrice, we’re seeing photos of the One Max alongside the Note 3 as well as the standard HTC One, and we can see that it’s quite a sizable handset.

The screen size is said to be 5.7-inches, rather than the 5.9 that has been reported previously, and we can still see the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone. The rear cover also looks removable, with room for a microSD card and a SIM card beneath the cover. I must say, the SIM card inserted under the rear case is a very welcome change from the horrible SIM trays that manufacturers love so much these days.

Some of the Asian models of the HTC One were shown to have microSD card support, but also had dual SIM slots and never came to Australia. The One Max leaked in the photos appears to only have one SIM card slot, and could well be the version that we see here.

Who would be interested in an HTC One Max? Does the microSD card slot influence your decision? Let us know in the comments.

Mmm IF it has the MSD Card, then maybe. I still have the One XL on a plan with Telstra and since the recent software upgrade it chews power at an unbelievable rate. I hope they’ve fixed that problem on “The ONE”.

Battery life on “The ONE” not an issue for my One. Get 2 days per charge.
