In an email received from Dick Smith, it seems they are having an additional 2 day Click Frenzy deals starting sometime today, with the Motorola RAZR M being reduced to $269. It was originally $349.

The RAZR M is a 4G device and unlocked, so it can be used on an network. Just in case you have forgotten, here is a list of the full specs the RAZR M is packing:

  • 4.3″ Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen (256 ppi)
  • 8 GB on board storage (4.5 GB available to the user), expandable to 32GB via MicroSD card
  • 1 GB RAM
  • Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon
  • Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait CPU
  • Adreno 225 GPU
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot
  • 8 MP rear facing camera, VGA front facing
  • Android 4.0.4 is pre installed, however there is an update to Android 4.1.2
  • Network Connectivity: 2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
  • 3G: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
  • 4G/LTE: 1800 / 2600

You can find out more about the RAZR M specs through GSM Arena website here.

I do have to say, as a RAZR M user, it’s not a bad device. It does run smoothly although the only disappointing part is that it may not be upgraded past Android 4.1.2 – however we hope Motorola will upgrade the device nonetheless. When Ausdroid reviewed the RAZR M around this time last year, we were quite taken with it, and it remains a quality device.

You can check out the deal via the link below.

Would you consider buying the Motorola RAZR M? Are you in the market for a cheap mid range 4G device? Do you currently use or have a RAZR M device? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below

I would have a look to see what the XDA support is like. If they are still making roms for it then I would be all over it …. If I was poor

It would be a good price for the RAZR HD. Silly not to wait for the Moto G. LTE isn’t a priority unless you don’t have access to WiFi.

Googlerola need to do the RightThing and update the RAZR M to KitKat

Avon Perera

I’d personally wait for the Moto G to hit our shores, but then again that doesn’t have 4G and is still a couple of months away. Hopefully it won’t be too much more than the US price.

Barry

Great Phone and at that price a bargain
