We love the Motorola Moto G, and we said as much when we reviewed it back in January. So much so, in fact, that we’ve decided to give one away to one of you, our wonderful readers, just because we can.

We announced this in our mailing list yesterday, and now it’s time for everyone who’s not on that list to have a chance to enter as well.

The competition mechanic is really, really simple. There’s no witty answer to come up with, there’s no problem to solve, and there’s no raffle tickets to buy. In fact, you can win the Moto G by doing nothing more than following our social accounts, subscribing to our newsletter and sitting back.

Here’s how to enter:

Firstly, you must subscribe to the Ausdroid Newsletter to be eligible to win. We send our semi-regular news, and the occasional sponsored message as well. We’re not trying to be deceptive here; the newsletter is a vital source of income for Ausdroid and allows us to keep running, and the more subscribers we have, the more we’re able to sell ad-space and sponsor messages for, which we can in turn use to cover our hosting expenses, operating expenses, and buying review devices (like this Moto G) to just give away for free. In short, it doesn’t cost you anything, and it helps us a bunch.

Our mailing list is used by Ausdroid only; we don’t sell the content of the list, and we’ll only use it to send things we think you’ll be interested in. You can unsubscribe at any time (though we hope you won’t!)

The raffle is open already, and will be drawn at 10am AEDT on Thursday 20 March 2013. Entries after that time are not eligible to win and will be discarded. To be eligible to win, you must complete at least one of the steps shown in the raffle widget above, and you must be subscribed to the Ausdroid Newsletter at the time the raffle is drawn. Any winner who is found not to be a newsletter subscriber will not be eligible, and will not be considered to have won.
