Oppo Logo
Oppo has launched in Australia, so that means we’ll be seeing newer handsets as Oppo releases them. One of their larger releases this year, figuratively and literally, was the Oppo N1. With a rotating camera which could rotate through 190° of movement, the novelty doesn’t seem to have worn off with renders of the upcoming Oppo N3 showing that Oppo has not only retained the camera but refined it.

GSMArena has published the renders which show a refined camera movement mounted in a tube along the top of the phone. It’s a novel idea to mount the camera atop the phone, with a throwback to the design of the Sony Clie PDAs of the 90’s. Mounting the camera atop the phone means that the phone itself can be thinner, from the look of the renders the phone may also contain stereo speakers in there as well.

The phone is coming soon, perhaps as soon as next month according to teasers that Oppo has been releasing over the last week or two. Phil quite liked the Oppo N1, so it’ll be interesting to see what the N3 can deliver.
