Xperia Z3
The Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact are coming to Australia. The Xperia Z3 will launch on all four national carriers – Telstra, Optus, Vodafone Australia and Virgin Mobile and the Xperia Z3 Compact will launch on Telstra and Optus at this stage, but if you’re holding out for an Xperia Z3 or Z3 Compact you’re obviously wanting more information and Sony want to give it to you, as soon as they can.

Sony Australia has launched a micro-site for the Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact on their Australian website, encouraging potential new owners to sign-up to their mailing list to be advised about pre-orders, as well as availability and pricing. You’ll need to enter your Name, as well as an email address and agree to the Privacy Policy, but you should get information from Sony Australia as soon as it’s available.

We’ll know more about Sony Australia’s plans for the Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact – and we really hope the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact – after we attend their briefing next Tuesday the 30th of September. We will of course have that information up as soon as they let us know, but until then, enter your details and maybe you’ll get a tidbit sooner than then.

i’m really considering this phone. I’ve just cracked my third nexus 5 screen. I’m so over cracked screens and water damaged phones, just soo over it. It’s either the z3 or a waterproof nexus 6/shamu/x should there be one.

Don’t be afraid to go Sony mate. I previously owned an Xperia Z, recently upgraded to Z2, and also have an Xperia Z tablet. Sony’s skin is IMHO as close to vanilla Android as you can get. I don’t understand why Sony are never mentioned in the same league as Sham-sung, Moto, LG and HTC. It actually pisses me off to be quite honest….. WHERE IS ALL THE SONY LOVE?

Love the compact. Here’s wishing they release a GPE to Google Play.
