Nexus Family_6_9_and wear

Online gadgets and goodies supermarket Yatango Shopping has added the yet-to-be released Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 devices to their ever-growing range. Before you get too excited, neither device is yet showing any availability, ETA or (possibly most importantly) cost on their pages.

While we’re still waiting on information about the availability of the Nexus 6 in Australia, if you’re wanting to get your hands on the Nexus 9 it’s probably going to be quicker to pay up and order via the Play Store.

If the Nexus 6 becomes available via Yatango before it’s on the Play Store, will you shell out to get it before everyone else?

I saw on the podcast you guys went with Yatango. I guess im waiting with my stock checker app ready. Its the painful path but no doubt I will get it sooner. If I miss the first batch though I will revert to Yatango or Kogan I think.

I had the same issues with these guys. Ordered a phone that was ‘In stock, ready to ship’. 3 days later nothing had shipped so I checked the site and the phone was now ‘out of stock’
Very annoying.

I would stay well clear of Yatango. I ordered an item from them in September, and then once a week for the next 4 weeks I got an email saying my item was shipping that day. Then I got one saying that it would ship later that week (effectively going backwards in the process). I contacted them and asked them to cancel my order, and then magically the item shipped later that day. Took 5 to 6 weeks in all to get my item, without even an explanation or apology. You’d be better off ignoring the complete and utter ineptitude… Read more »

One bad experience doesn’t mean everyone has a bad experience.

I had a similar issue.
Ordered a phone that said it was in stock, after a week i queried it with them to be told there was no stock. Changed the phone to another that they said was in stock to have the same thing happen.

Quite annoying.

Strange. I used them when they were under the name Mobicity and I never had a problem.

Nexus One, 2x Galaxy Nexus phones, Chromebook Pixel, Nokia X – spent a fair bit through Mobicity, I have nothing to hold me back from ordering through them under the name Yatango, been a great source of importing stuff.

I ordered a G3 from them and got it pretty quickly (9 days from ordering), but my ‘pre-order’ of the Moto 360 didn’t fare so well – I genuinely believe this was out of their hands, due to the worldwide state of stock, but I do feel they misrepresent their stock levels. They seem to take an order and then look for the product from their suppliers – my G3 had a ‘Taiwan Mobile’ sticker on the box.

Don’t forget your barge pole.

Yeah no price or availability yet. It’s just a picture.
