Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S2-RFront
We’ve previously seen press renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet, but we’re now getting a look at the tablet in the flesh as it were, with Samsung sending the tablet for certification by the Chinese Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center – TENAA.

The source link provides pictures of the tablet, as well as some information about the physical properties of the tablet, including details on the 8″ OLED screen which will carry a 2048 × 1536 resolution. Physically, the tablet will measure 198.2×134.5×5.4mm and weigh 260 grams.

The Tab S2 will come with a 1.9GHz CPU, with 3GB RAM, 8MP Rear and 2MP Front-facing cameras. There’s 16GB of on-board storage (though 32GB models are expected) and a microSD card slot on board can take up to 128GB microSD cards.

Announcement for the Tab S2 series – which should come in 8″ and 9.7″ screen sizes, and Wi-Fi and LTE models – is expected quite soon, we’ll know more when Samsung have something official to say.

Thanks: Dylan.

Wonder what the price of the 8″ LTE model is. I need a new tablet for the wife as her Nexus 7 has been a dog since updating to Lollipop

Because I use my tablet mainly for YouTube, this 4:3 tablet seems like its not for me. But what is for me? It feels like I’ve been waiting forever for a great, small wide screen tablet to replace my 2013 Nexus 7.
