LG G4 Header
Yes, yes, alright, we missed it on Monday, but this is a post to remedy that. Telstra began accepting pre-orders for the LG G4 on Monday morning, offering the phone with a lovely bonus: an LG P7 Portable speaker.

The Telstra pre-order gives customers the option of either an exclusive Black Leather rear, with a bonus metallic grey cover though if you really like the Brown Leather option you can opt for that one. While there’s a number of plans available to pre-order the phone on, the Telstra plans begin at $55 per month with a $20 handset repayment – basically you’re paying $75 per month.

Telstra is including some digital content bonuses with their plans, with a choice of either a 6 month Presto subscription, 12 month AFL Live Pass or 12 month NRL Digital Pass.

As promised when LG announced the offers for the G4, Telstra is offering a bonus for customers pre-ordering a G4 of an LG P7 portable speaker, valued at $189 (while stocks last). The P7 offers a 20w wireless speaker with a bluetooth connection powered by a 2600mAh Li-Ion battery which LG says will give up to 9 hours of playback.

At this stage, the LG G4 doesn’t have a price for outright sale through Telstra – at least according to their 24/7 chat team – but you can purchase it outright from Harvey Norman for $877 with a metallic coloured rear cover, or for $928 with a Brown Leather rear. You can also check out JB Hifi who will also sell the G4 with a Brown Leather as of the 14th of July for $926.

The phone is available now for pre-order from Telstra with devices actually shipping from the 14th of July (we’re assuming they’ll send them out for delivery on this date). If you want to grab an LG G4 from Telstra then head over to the pre-order page for the G4 now.

Telstra did not open pre order until Tuesday. I checked on Monday but the Web page had a bad gateway error.

To be fair, that’s what LG actually said.

Yeah, bit of a difference with $50+, huh?

Also, I wish bloody Vodafone would confirm or deny G4 availability already too. I already need to change from Virgin to get it; Telstra is too rich for my tastes, but I’m willing to consider a deal with the red Devil…

The dark side isn’t all bad, when I smashed my second htc m7 they gave me a refurbished one free.
