Samsung’s second generation Galaxy Tab S2 tablets will launch in Australia next week, with 8.0- and 9.7-inch models going on-sale at retailers across Australia on the 15th of September in both Wi-Fi and 4G configurations.

The tablets offer an updated design over the original model with a thinner form factor (nearly a full mm thinner than the original at just 5.6mm thin). They also move to a 4:3 aspect ratio for the screen.

Pricing for the tablets starts at $499 RRP for the 8-inch Wi-Fi model and goes up from there:

They’ve been here in NZ for the past 6 weeks . Had a look at the S2 about 3 weeks ago but couldn’t justify the $150 extra over the TAB A 10″ which also has a built in stylus. Was buying this for the wife..
