Lenovo’s Moto G5 and G5+, which launched at Mobile World Congress last month haven’t yet launched in Australia but we could be getting the phones in a stunning blue colour option when it does.

The phone leak has come courtesy of the Twitter feed of Ronald Quandt of WinFuture.de, and shows the Blue Sapphire colour option off in beautiful press renders. The initial tweet (below) was for the G5, but a follow-up specifically states that the G5 Plus will also come in Blue Sapphire as well.

As a refresher the Moto G5 and G5 Plus are similar in design, but come with slight differences in spec – a 5″ screen on the G5 and a 5.2″ screen on the G5+, as well as different processors, RAM and storage configurations on both the devices. The easiest way is to check out the specs side-by-side:

So far the Moto G5 has only been announced in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold. It may not launch with the Blue Sapphire option as phone companies often use new colour options to breath new life into their phones mid-cycle. While we wait for Australian launch details you can check out our hands-on of both phones here.
