A month is a long time in the Android world it seems with each monthly distribution numbers continuing to provide us with interesting snapshots into the Android ecosystem.
The data is collated over 7 days by checking the version numbers of devices accessing Google Play. This of course means that any device not accessing Google Play, like a number of Android builds on devices like Amazonโs Fire tablets, and various Chinese vendors arenโt counted — but still this is a decent look.
This month sees Nougat as the big mover moving from 7.1% to 9.5%. Considering there are 2 billion Android devices accessing Google Play this 9.5% is around 190 million users using Android 7.0 and above. Seems too many but this is what the distribution figures are showing us. We have seem quite a few devices released lately running Nougat and with Motorola rolling theirs out soon and the Galaxies continuing to gain momentum we can expect this percentage to rise substantially in the coming months.
This month Marshmallow stayed constant at 31.2% but Lollipop dropped around a percent. Jelly Bean and Gingerbread both dropped a fraction of a percent but Ice Cream Sandwich remained constant.
For the record, hereโs how this months results stack up:

And yet I am still waiting for the update for my Moto X Play. Has anyone heard any news on when it will be rolling out now as last I heard it had a fairly firm date to come out last month? I think that makes it at least 4 months delayed so far which is very unlike how Motorola was running.
I don’t know the answer to your question
but I do know the problem, “? ?Lenovo ? ? “!!
Just look how slow Lenovo update their line of phones such as the Zuk, Vibe etc.
