What would a LG flagship announcement in 2017 be without us knowing nearly everything about the phone before LG step on stage to reveal it? We are just mere hours away from the V30 announcement and perennial leaker, Evan Blass has posted some press renders of the phone displaying its available colours.

While the photos do not show us any new detail that we didn’t already know (or strongly suspect) they do demonstrate a range of colours it will be available in. The image posted on Twitter by Evan Blass shows the LG V30 arriving in a very dark black, a white (or light silver), a beautiful blue and a pink/mauve colour — I am sure the marketing gurus will come up with fancy names for the colours but in a nutshell they are the colours to the average person.

The images also show that yes, the 18:9 ratio display is curved and there is a minimal bezel at the top and bottom. The rear of the device has the fingerprint sensor and the B & O Play logo signifying their work with LG on the device’s audio output.

Evan followed up this with a full press render of the blue V30 and if you look below you will see why I called it a beautiful blue. Let’s hope that LG decide to bring it to our shores.

The announcement begins at 5pm AEST today and is scheduled to go for one hour. We are expecting the V30 to be a monster of a device with new quad DAC, an f/1.6 dual camera setup and 6 inch curved QHD display. LG are really stepping up to the plate with their devices this year — hopefully the new UX 6.0+ expected to arrive on the V30 helps to elevate them to a new level.

Anyone going to be watching the LG announcement at 5pm today? If not check in with us here at Ausdroid not long after where we will post all the relevant details as well as local release information as soon as we have it.
