It’s the first Monday of the month, so that means that Google has released the latest monthly security update and the OTA and Images are now available to download for supported devices.

The updates of course come in two versions – the 1st of May for manufacturers and the 5th of May for Google’s supported hardware which includes the Nexus 5x, Nexus 6P (not yet available, should be here shortly), Pixel C and of course the Pixel/Pixel XL and Pixel 2/Pixel XL. Over The Air update files are available to download, as are the flashable Images if you need to get those.

  • Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL – 8.1.0 (OPM2.171019.029.B1, May 2018)
