Selected FlyBuys customers are receiving an interesting email offer for a free Google Home and up to 40,000 bonus FlyBuys points when they sign up to an eligible plan on Optus.

The targeted offer is being sent to selected FlyBuys customers in targetted post codes, and is only available for new services. The offer requires FlyBuys customers who receive the offer to sign up to a 12 month SIM only, 24 month handset or 24 month broadband plan before the 30th of June to be eligible.

According to a post on OzBargain, there are three offers:

1) Optus is giving you the opportunity to save with no plan fees for three months when you sign up to any of their 12 month SIM Only Plans plus up to 10,000 BONUS POINTS and a FREE Google Home.

2) Get the latest smartphone you’ve been craving on a My Plan Plus plan which includes an optional Optus Sport subscription at no additional cost, plus receive up to 40,000 BONUS POINTS and a FREE Google Home. Optus Sport is the only place to watch every single 2018 FIFA World Cupâ„¢ game live and on-demand.

3) Or get 10% off the monthly access fees on Optus’ 24 month broadband plans and enjoy unlimited data for as little as $67.50 (includes discount) a month plus receive up to 20,000 BONUS POINTS and a FREE Google Home. Minimum total cost is $1,620.

It’s not a bad deal if you’re in the market for a new plan, but remember you can purchase a Google Home anywhere from $150 if you find it on special so it pays to only sign up if it’s worthwhile. If you’re interested, check your email to see if you’ve received the offer.

I got an email from Virgin pushing me to an Optus plan this week, at $2 less per month than I’m currently paying. If they threw in a free Google Home on top of that I’d consider it. I wonder if the offers will get better or worse, the closer it comes to the end of Virgin Mobile
