The launch of the Galaxy Note 9 in just under 7 days time is becoming leakier by the day with Samsung themselves now joining the throng by leaking the handset themselves.

The leak comes courtesy of the Samsung pre-order page launched in New Zealand (which has since been taken down), which clearly showed off the Galaxy Note 9 in Blue with the lovely yellow S Pen laid atop it. The handset pictured has the fingerprint sensor in the new position below the camera setup, “confirming” it is the Note 9.

The pre-order page for the Galaxy Note 9, and many like it around the world, have pretty much confirmed that we’ll start seeing the Galaxy Note 9 arriving in customers hands on the 24th of August.

At this stage, Samsung Australia hasn’t begun taking pre-orders per se, though you can pre-register to be sent information on ‘The Next Galaxy’ as soon as it’s available on the Samsung Australia site.

Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy Note 9 – and possibly the Galaxy Watch – on the 9th of August in New York. If you’re here in Australia you can tune in to their live stream at 1am AEST on August 10th through their website or YouTube channel.
