Friday morning Australian time Samsung will take to the stage in New York and announce a phone that has been leaked and leaked and then leaked some more. The Galaxy Note 9 and it’s details are barely a secret to anyone but that hasn’t stopped more leaks from arriving at this late stage.

Our friends at Winfuture have gotten their hands on some promotional material for the Galaxy Note 9 that reveal more details. The Bluetooth S Pen will allow you to control the camera (as previously leaked) but also it will allow you to control presentations, control apps with the “fine tip and 4096 pressure levels”.

Another image shows what appears to be the same dual aperture camera that is in the Galaxy S9 Plus and it promises to take “stunning shots day or night”. Samsung is set to introduce more AI to the camera with the settings being optimised to what is being photographed. It will even detect a bad shot and take another when the time is right. Hopefully this is true and Samsung have made some improvements since the Galaxy S9 though as the bar for high end smartphone cameras has been move by both HTC and Huawei since then.

Samsung will also has a DeX functionality similar to Huawei’s desktop mode where only a single cable is required to project your phone to a monitor. This one feature that could come in very handy for many people, the new Galaxy Note 9 could really be a PC in your pocket.

All will become official on Friday morning and we will bring it all to you as it happens (Dan never sleeps) as well as all the local flavour of availability and pricing. Check in here on Friday morning for the full scoop on Samsung’s next flagship, the Galaxy Note 9.
