It’s that time of year and Google is clearing the way for the upcoming Pixel 3, so that means discounts. The Pixel 2 XL 128GB model is the focus of the sale with a discount of $300.

Running a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage with a 12MP camera on the rear that’s still widely regarded as one of the best smartphone cameras around, the Pixel 2 XL is still a great phone even almost a year after launch. With the controversy over the notch showing on the Pixel 3 XL this would make a great phone to grab.

The phone normally sells for $1,549 but is marked down to $1,249 – $150 cheaper than the 64GB model is listed for at JB HiFi and will be delivered free of charge to your door. The sale started today and runs through until the 4th of September at 4:59pm AEST (or while stocks last) for orders from Australian residents.

The only other rider of note in the Terms and Conditions is that the ‘Offer cannot be combined with any promotional codes, or with other bundle offers running at the same time’.

Interested in grabbing a new phone? It’s a pretty good deal, head over to the Google Store online now to check it out.

    Still a rip off

Still paying over $1000 for a phone though. I have the OnePlus 5T and it has a whopping 8GB of RAM and cost me about $700.

Exactly. An out of date phone whilst good is last years specs and still way over priced. Love my Oneplus 5, I can get the 6T and still the two together will have cost me less than the Pixel XL.
