It’s all about dad on the Australian Google Store at the moment, with offers abounding across the entire range. Google is offering both discounts and freebies this time, with offers of bonus Chromecast’s and Google Home Minis when you buy a Google Home, or Google Home Max.

Chromecast + Google Home

The offer is simple, add a Google Home and a Chromecast – note: this is not a Chromecast Ultra or Chromecast Audio – to your shopping basket and the price of the Chromecast (normally $59) will be deducted at checkout. The deal runs until the 4th of September at 4:59pm or while stocks last.

There are rumours circulating of a new Chromecast with Bluetooth and updated WiFi support being announced this year at Google’s ‘Made by Google’ event. If this is the case, then clearing out old stock is a great idea for Google.

Google Home Mini + Google Home Max

This one is pretty simple as well, if you’re buying a Google Home Max (and you’ll love it if you do) then you just need to add a Google Home Max and a Google Home mini to your basket in one transaction and the price of the Google Home Mini (normally $79 but currently on-sale for $55) will be deducted at checkout.

As with the deal above you’ll be able to get this one until the 4th of September at 4:59pm – or while stocks last.

Google Pixel Buds

The rumours of an updated pair of Pixel Buds are circulating, and now, just like the Pixel 2, Google is clearing them out of the Australian Google Store under the pretense of a Fathers Day sale, offering them for just $179.

The Pixel Buds went on-sale late last year for $249, but are marked down to $179 until the 4th of September (at 4:59pm) for Australian customers. Local retailers JB Hifi and Telstra aren’t offering any discounts on them at this time, offering them for $249 and $240 respectively.

Google has updated the functionality of Pixel Buds a couple of times since launch, though nothing of note recently.

Pixel Buds offer up to 5 hours of listening time, or you can recharge them in the included charging case.

Pixel Buds were launched in a choice of three colours: Just Black, Clearly White and Kinda Blue, which match the Google Pixel phones – but it appears as though Just Black is currently out of stock.

If you’ve been looking for a good deal on Pixel Buds then this is a good opportunity to grab them. Head over to the Google Store and check out the deal.
