The same Russian blogger who shared camera samples of the Pixel 3 XL has also shared all the details of the handset, including giving us another look at the accessories, and listing the specs.

The site, rozetked.me, has gotten their hands on what appears to be a retail model of the Pixel 3 XL and has listed specs for the handset which include a screen resolution of 2960 × 1440 pixels with the notch and a Snapdragon 845 processor powering it. The phone is of course running Android 9.0 Pie.

As we saw in the last leak with camera samples, the phone does also include wireless charging as you can see a couple of seconds into this video that Khoroshev shared on his Twitter account.

The pics shared of the phone show the notch in the display, and that lovely green power button which offsets the stark white of the handset quite nicely. The picture of the base with USB-C doesn’t show a bottom firing speaker so it’s likely to be back to front-facing speakers.

The final image is of the contents of the retail box for the Pixel 3 XL, which includes the USB-C to USB adapter, 3.5mm to USB-C adapter, USB-C to USB-C cable and of course a power brick. The big news is the inclusion of USB-C earphones which have similar design to the Pixel Buds with what appears to be an adjustable cord running through it.

We’re expecting to see the Pixel 3 XL announced alongside the Pixel 3, a new PixelBook, Pixel Buds, and perhaps a few more surprises like a Google branded Smart Display and possibly even an updated Chromecast on October 4th. The rate the launch is going we shouldn’t have any surprises left for the launch of the Pixel 3 XL by the time that rolls around though.

I haven’t had a white handset since… the HTC One M8 or something; do they still discolour after ~a year or so of use, even with cleaning? Or are they constructed from something nicer now?

I just want to know if Google Pay will be able to use Suica in Japan with the new NFC stack I’ve heard rumours about??? Otherwise not sure it will be enough of an upgrade from P2.
