Travelling overseas can be an expensive exercise and adding in roaming charges can be an unwanted nightmare. Vodafone’s Red Roaming option, which lets you use all your plans inclusions for just $5 per day makes it easy and now you can use it in more countries.

Todays additions include: Armenia, Cambodia, Colombia, Liechtenstein, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Uruguay.

The expansion brings the total number of countries included to 80, covering nearly 70% of the world’s population says Ben McIntosh, Chief Commercial Officer – Vodafone Australia. The list includes the top 10 destinations travelled to by Aussies such as New Zealand, the US and UK, Indonesia, as well as some of the more off the beaten track locations.

The flexibility of the Red Plans which can be month-to-month allows customers a lot of freedom, with Mr McIntosh saying
‘We know that Australians love to travel, and just like our no lock-in contracts and flexible payment terms, we want to give customers choice, freedom and flexibility to travel without worry’.

While some people like to pick up a local SIM card in their destination country, it can make it difficult for people to contact you in case of emergency. If you’re looking to travel abroad and want to take your number with you, this is a great option.

This is an untouchable option for traveling abroad

Terry

Roaming in Japan doesn’t support 4G which is really bad. But others are quite good.

Josh

Yes it does, as of July 2018

Terry

Oh, really? Good to hear. I went to Japan this April and no support for 4g
