Even though the Samsung Unpacked event to announce the new Galaxy devices is only in two days time the leaks keep on coming. Today a hands on video from TechRadar’s Matt Swider has found its way online – before it was subsequently removed “due to a copyright claim by a third party”.
Unfortunately for this “third” party the video has also been copied to other channels where we could see it. The video shows Matt talking about the Galaxy S10 and the S10+ and the small differences between the two. While the clip I was able to find only had a snippet of the full TechRadar video, it does confirm some details of the phones.
The Galaxy S10 will have a 6.1 inch display whereas the S10+ will have a 6.4 inch display. Both displays have the hole punch cutout for the front-facing cameras as expected and as we already knew, the S10+ punch is oval due to its dual front-facing cameras.
Both phones will have a triple lens camera (standard, telephoto, and ultra-wide lenses) with the new lens to allow for ultra-wide angled photos – something LG first did on the G6 a couple of years ago which I loved when I reviewed the G6.
Once again as expected both phones will have an in-display fingerprint sensor, wireless power sharing (reverse wireless charging) and a headphone jack for those hanging onto their wires.
Just how long the video below stays up for is anyone’s guess and it really gives us nothing new but if you cannot wait until Thursday check it out below before this one is pulled too.
The video does give us a live look at the Galaxy S10 and S10+ and it looks to be a beautiful device. We cannot wait to get handsy with one at MWC this year with an internal battle royale already beginning over who gets to review them.
