The interwebs have gone quiet on the OnePlus 7 for a few weeks but today it is back in force with some renders from a case manufacturer leaking showing the entire device from all angles.

We have seen a few leaks in the past for the OnePlus 7 and today seems to confirm a lot of those with the renders showing off a hole in the case for the pop-up camera at the top – and the outline of said pop-up camera on the phone itself. This results in a massive screen to body ratio without any interruption of the display from a notch or cutout.

The bottom of the device shows the USB-C charging port along with a speaker grill. To the left is another oval hole for what exactly we are unsure — it may be the SIM card slot without the cover on it as we cannot see the SIM card slot above the volume rocker where it was on the OnePlus 6T nor anywhere else.

The rear of the device shows off a triple rear camera – no periscope super-zoom lens here, maybe OPPO will share it with OnePlus next year. There is of course no fingerprint reader on the rear as it will be in-display once again.

The front of the device is where this device stuns. Its screen to body ratio has to be close to 90% if not higher, putting it above all other phones we have seen outside of China aside from the OPPO Find X (and the upcoming OPPO Reno). The bottom bezel looks to be a few millimetres in size but the sides and top and extremely small. The display does not look to be curved with OnePlus sticking to their flat displays with a small 2.5D curve on the edge.

The OnePlus 7 is expected to launch in mid-May and we are hoping to be on the ground in New York at the announcement. It is expected to arrive with a SD855 onboard as well as other high end specs we usually see from OnePlus.

I’m not holding my breath but maybe this will be the time we see OnePlus launch their flagship directly into Australia. There is no doubt at least one of the carriers would love an exclusive on a device as stunning and highly regarded as this.

Would you buy one if it arrived here?

No carrier version plz, not until they offer unbranded versions of phones.
