Google have had a difficult time keep details of their device releases in recent times and this year looks to be no different. Google themselves have already been on the front foot confirming the new rear camera configuration that will arrive in the Pixel phones this year after it was leaked extensively.
Now more details have leaked with BGR obtaining details previously unknown. BGR have obtained information from sources inside Google whom they consider reliable pertaining to the display resolutions and the memory inside.
They are confirming that the displays on the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will have larger displays than the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The Pixel 4 will have a resolution of 2280 x 1080 compared to the Pixel 3 which has a 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution. The Pixel 4 XL will also have a larger display than its 2018 counterpart with the resolution being 3040 x 1440 pixels compared to 2960 x 1440 pixel resolution on the Pixel 3 XL.
BGR are also reporting that Google are finally increasing the RAM in the Pixel phone with 6GB coming in the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. It is about time that Google increased the RAM inside the Pixel phones with 4GB leading to a raft of problems associated with its everyday use. Hopefully 6GB will be enough — all other manufacturers are installing a LOT more RAM than that in their respective flagships.
Google will most likely be releasing the new Pixel phones in October at their Made By Google event so there is still a lot of time for us to hear and see more about these devices. You can be sure that we will see more without a doubt.

Doesn’t seem like big improvements with the screen resolutions and also know what things people don’t want to see this year haha. Coming from pixel user, a pixel/nexus user questioning if he want’s to stay with pixel after many years or move onto something else.
