The most disliked video EVER on YouTube is YouTube Rewind 2018. Yes, YouTube themselves made the most hated video ever — you would think they would know how. This year though they have tried something different for Rewind and have actually made a video based on what you, the consumers, liked.

At the beginning of this year’s Rewind video YouTube admitted that they did a terrible job last year and instead decided to make a compilation of the most popular videos, songs, dances and creators as well as highlight some of the new comers and high achievers for the year.

…we can’t ignore the elephant in the room: Last year’s YouTube Rewind, um, wasn’t your favorite (to put it lightly…). So this year, we tried something different and looked at what you did like — a lot. Our Rewind 2019 video compiles the top videos and creators that you liked and watched the most around the world, from the biggest games to must-watch beauty palettes and breakout stars.

The video, as you can see above is extremely fast-paced rolling through the top 5 and 10 lists for some categories and then focusing on some achievements and newcomers to YouTube in the past year.

If you want to check out the Rewind website you can localise it to Australia and check out our regions top 10 lists.

Of course the biggest surprise is that Ausdroid’s own Dr Pimple Popper did not make the cut. Maybe next year.
