With Australia seemingly plunging into a second peak of COVID-19 cases it will be interesting to see how business react this time around. A few weeks ago Telstra announced their additional support offers, now Vodafone has joined them.
Vodafone is currently offering additional support to Victorians affected by the southern second wave. Any Victorian under Stage 3 Stay At Home restrictions are eligible for suspension of late fees and no service cut offs until restrictions lift. To be clear, you’ll still have to pay your bills, they will just mount up interest-free.
Additionally for any Vodafone customer in a ‘public housing address’ who is currently under detention order Vodafone is also offering:
- 10GB bonus data for prepaid and postpaid customers
- Unlimited standard national calls until 31 July 2020 (unless extended) for any customer who does not have this inclusion as part of their plan
