Black Friday is a fun time of year for those of us who love tech and saving money on fun toys we don’t really need but want nonetheless. This year we will undoubtedly be inundated with tech deals flying at us left right and centre but we have attempted to go through those we know about already and pluck out the ones that we think are not just great deals but great products too.

Amazon

Love them or hate them, we all have to recognise that Aamzon is huge with not just a vast array of their own products but a lot of smaller stores who use Amazon to sell their wares. This year Amazon has come strong with savings on their own products along with a vast array of third party stores.

  • Save 38% off RRP on All-new Echo Dot (4th Gen)
  • Save $10 Off All-New Fire TV Stick Lite with Alexa. Only $49
  • Save $50 off RRP on Kindle Paperwhite 8GB
  • Save up to 30% off RRP on select Ring Home Security
  • Save 40% off RRP on Amazon eero mesh Wi-Fi

Remember Amazon is worldwide and Amazon offer free overseas shipping in select cases with sales on many products here and overseas:

  • Save on select electronics from Sennheiser, Garmin, Ultimate Ears Wonderboom Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speakers
  • Save on select Phillips Hue, Aeropress and De’Longhi products
  • Save on select Under Armour products
  • Save up to 26% on select Sonos products
  • Save on select Smartscales, Fitness tracker and other Devices from Withings
  • Save up to 38% off RRP on select SanDisk microSD products

  • Save 45% off RRP on HUAWEI Watch GT2e
  • Save 33% off HUAWEI Matebook D15, now $799
  • Save up to 30% off RRP on Bose Headphones 700

  • Save on Fitbit Versa 2, now $199

Many of these are already on sale now but if there is anything specific you are after keep on eye on its webpage for when Black Friday starts.

Swann

Swann have an array of cameras on sale but the smart camera that took our notice was the 1080p Alert Indoor Security Camera – Twin Pack. This indoor video camera is 35% off from Swann and at just $149.95 and support for Alexa and Google Assistant it is a great deal for two cameras!

Dell

Dell make some great products and actually have their Black Friday sales already available via deals.dell.com/en-au and run until December 3. Key deals include:

  • 20% of ALL XPS systems
  • 20% off ALL Alienware Systems
  • 30% off Dell G7 17 Gaming Laptop
  • Save 40% on Inspiron 15 5000

I use an XPS laptop can recommend them highly. Dell products offer great value for money so we recommend checking them out if you are in the market for anything on the list above.

Suunto

Last week we covered the price drop of the Suunto 7 to $599. Seems they weren’t done with just that drop with the Black Friday pricing coming down another $100 for $499. The Suunto 7 offers the best in smarts with Wear OS alongside their own sports packages with over 70 sport modes. It is apparently the perfect balance between smarts and fitness. It is available for $499 from JB Hi-Fi from Friday 27 November until November 30.

ECOVACS DEEBOT robot vacuums

ECOVACS have a couple of their robot vacuums on sale for Black Friday. The DEEBOT OZMO T8 with their cutting edge TrueDetect 3D technology to detect and avoid obstacles and its laser-based TrueMapping technology is on sale for just $899 from Amazon — a saving of $400.

The other vacuum from ECOVACS that is on sale is the DEEBOT OZMO 710 and is on sale for just $359 from Amazon, a saving of a whopping $649. The vacuum is no slouch though, even with that pricing and includes smart mapping technology, a vision camera and a MaxMode to increase suction when required.

Belkin

Belkin are one of the better names in cables these days and they also have a great sale on their cables at Belkin.com/au, JB Hi-Fi and other leading retailers. From November 25 until December 2 you can get 40% off Belkin cables from participating retailers — a great deal for some great products.

Lenovo

Lenovo have a vast array of laptops on sale at up to 50% off but the main one that caught our attention was the Lenovo Chromebook Duet. We loved the Chromebook Duet when we reviewed it only stuttering at the Australian pricing (when compared to the US pricing). Originally at $600 it was a tough sell considering the US price was sub-US$300. Now during the Black Friday sales it will be priced at just $374 at JB Hi-Fi.

Bing Lee

Bing Lee always has some great sales and this year they promise even more with “big” sales on brands such as Fitbit, Samsung, Dyson, Theragun and Panasonic all beginning on Thursday November 26.

TicWatch

TicWatch make some great watches and headphones and they have a sale of up to 30% of most items on their website. Keep an eye out Friday for their specific sales as they launch.

There will of ocurse be many more sales around in the coming days. Let us know if there is anything you see that we might be interested in. We have also noted the Aldi sales starting Wednesday of this week.

Amazon AU are selling Gen 5 fossil watches for 30% off. $350 is not bad.

    woots

Dell has some huge reductions. But the sale price, eg for an i5 device, is about what you’d think it should be in the first place. Original prices of over $5,000 are a joke.
