Are you a fan of Disney+ ? Several of us at Ausdroid certainly are, I’m eagerly awaiting each new episode of The Book of Boba Fett.

Telstra is encouraging new customers to it’s higher end home NBN and Mobile plans by trying to lure new and lapsed fans of Disney+ with free 12 months streaming of that service included.

Before you signup to Telstra NBN compare their speed and pricing against other companies that members of Ausdroid use including (in alphabetical order): Aussie Broadband, Future Broadband and Launtel.

Telstra Mobile is of course the largest network for 3G/4G and 5G by a large margin so it’s an easier choice to make if you need the speed, large amounts of mobile data and coverage Australia-wide.

Who is eligible?

If you are a consumer customer and sign up to an eligible Telstra plan between 11 January 2022 and 28 March 2022 and are a new or lapsed returning Disney+ subscriber, Telstra will offer you a 12-month subscription to Disney+.

After 12 months you will automatically pay Disney+ month to month subscription fees unless you cancel.

You will need to redeem your offer by 31 May 2022.

Here’s who can get it:

Home Internet customers
New customers who sign up to selected Telstra Home Internet plans ($95 and above Home Internet plans (nbn50, nbn100 and nbn250 speed tiers) will be eligible for the offer.

Mobile customers
New customers who sign up to a selected Telstra Mobile ($65, $85 and $115) or data ($55 and $85) plan.

How do you redeem?

After signing up for an eligible Telstra plan in-store, over the phone or online, you will receive an email or SMS from Telstra with a link to the Disney+ offers page.

To redeem the offer, you will need to log in to the Telstra Offers Hub with your Telstra ID and password. Once logged in, click Redeem against an eligible service number or Bigpond email address.

Once redeemed, you will be directed to create an account directly with Disney+ to sign up to a Disney+ service, and accept the terms and conditions of use.
