Something we’re all becoming more aware of in the current age is the sustainability of goods and services. We’ve made mention in a number of reviews of the packaging and lack of plastics, making them recyclable. That’s just one step however, now Acer has taken it a step further with the Acer Aspire Vero being manufactured from recycled plastics.

The laptop is designed not just to be sustainable in the use of recycled materials, but also:

  • Easy to repair
  • Easy to upgrade
  • Is recyclable once disused
  • Saves around 21% in CO2 emissions for the user delivery

In reality, we still use a lot of plastics in Australia with very little being recycled and some (for a variety of reasons) not being recyclable. As a result, we’re putting a lot into landfills across the country. The entire retail package for the Aspire Vero is recyclable.

The starting point for the Acer Aspire Vero has a 15.6″ Full HD screen and comes with some solid specs:

  • Intel® Core™ i5-1155G7 processor Quad-core 2.50 GHz
  • Intel® Iris Xe Graphics shared memory
  • 256GB SSD and 8GB of RAM
  • Windows 11 Home

All of this is at a very affordable price of $1,099 at a retail level. We all need to play our part to look after the planet, Acer has stepped in to help us on the way.
