With MWC this year in full swing, albeit mostly virtual, Lenovo has announced various Windows based PC laptops, new Chromebooks and various accessories, with a wide range of sophisticated products and solutions that support Lenovo’s vision of delivering Smarter Technology for All.

So let’s have a look at all the new products Lenovo has launched.

ThinkPads

The first product Lenovo has launched is the new ThinkPad X13s which has been developed in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, and Microsoft and is the first laptop powered by the premium Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 compute platform and will run Windows 11 Pro right out of the box.

Talking at the launch of the Lenovo ThinkPad X13s, Jerry Paradise, vice president, Global Commercial Product Portfolio, Lenovo PC and Smart Devices has stated:

“Thanks to our collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies and Microsoft, we are excited to bring a new generation of work-from-anywhere device with the flexibility, mobility and security that enterprise customers need,” and that the “ThinkPad X13s promises to end power anxiety and delight users with AI accelerated collaboration experiences and hyper-speed connectivity wherever they happen to be.”

In terms of pricing and availability, Lenovo has said they will make further announcements on this but no ETA was provided at the time.

ThinkPad T16, ThinkPad T14s and Thinkpad T14 Gen 3

Next up, we have the Lenovo ThinkPad T16 along with updated ThinkPad T14s Gen 3 and T14 Gen 3 laptops which were first introduced in 2000. This line has been Lenovo’s most successful business laptop, has long been the workhorse of the portfolio designed to meet the needs of a broad range of business users. Today’s refresh builds on that excellence.

ThinkBooks

Lenovo is also launching new ThinkBook devices which continue Lenovo’s modern design philosophy that has become synonymous with their ThinkPad range. The new models feature dual tone colour highlights and exude class with an anodised aluminium exterior and four-side narrow bezels.

The new ThinkBooks Lenovo has launched are the ThinkBook 14s Yoga Gen 2, which has had some upgrades with the display, processor chipset and more, alongside the ThinkBook 13s Gen 4i which has had some upgrades namely relating to display, build, processor and more.

The next product range Lenovo has launched as part of their MWC launch are related to its IdeaPad range which run either Android, ChromeOS or Windows and includes a new updated IdeaPad Duet 3, which the company launched well over 2 years ago.

So lets have a look at each product.

IdeaPad Flex 5 2-in-1 series

The new IdeaPad Flex range are convertible laptops that come with a 360-degree hinge which enables multiple modes including a laptop to tablet mode, or stand to tent mode, while its drop-down hinge design allows the keyboard to slightly lift when opening the laptop for a more comfortable typing experience.

IdeaPad Duet 5i detachable

The IdeaPad Duet 5i detachable is a Surface like laptop come tablet and certainly takes its design cues from Microsoft’s Surface range.

The IdeaPad Duet 5i detachable comes with Lenovo’s detachable Bluetooth keyboard and enables users to go between four usage modes, including laptop mode with accompanying folio kickstand, tablet mode, or doodle in pen mode with the optional Active Pen 3, or simply detach the display to create on-the-go in free mode.

Next up, we have the IdeaPad Duet 3 Chromebook Which is had a bit of upgrade from the first generation we saw over a year or so ago. The new IdeaPad Duet 3 Chromebook Has had its screen bumped up to an 11-inch display from the previous 10.1-inch display.

The IdeaPad Duet 3 Chromebook is 7.9mm thin and has a fanless design that runs cool and quiet. Furthermore, The IdeaPad Duet 3 Chromebook offers enhanced durability via a ‘snap-on’ detachable keyboard with anti-pry and water-resistant keys.

Lastly, Lenovo has launched a new Android tablet, the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (3rd Gen), which the company states users will be able to binge longer and study smarter.

The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (3rd Gen) has more narrow bezels and offers an 85 per cent screen-to-display ratio and will come in two colour options – Storm Grey and Frost Blue.

Lastly, Lenovo has launched Lenovo Legion M600s Qi Wireless Gaming Mouse which the company has stated that amazing performance, precision, and better ergonomics. In terms of pricing and availability, Lenovo hasn’t confirmed pricing or availability and we are awaiting further details on this from the company we will update this post if and when this information becomes available.

IdeaPad Duet 3 Chromebook is the most tempting purchase in these announcements, although the ARM chip in “ThinkPad X13s” becomes available with Linux, then I would add it to my shopping list, even better if it was a Yoga model.
